# My Catches

The **My Catches** page is your personal dashboard for all catches you've submitted. Access it from the navigation menu.

## Filtering & Sorting

Use the filter controls at the top to narrow down your catches:

* **Year** — filter by the year the catch was made
* **Species** — filter by fish species
* **Status** — filter by approval status: Approved, Pending, or Rejected

Sort your catches using the sort dropdown:

* **Newest** — most recent first (default)
* **Most Likes** — catches with the most likes first
* **Most Comments** — catches with the most comments first
* **Largest** — longest fish first

## Views

Switch between two views using the tabs:

* **List View** — card grid showing your catches with photos, details, and interactions
* **Map View** — see all your catches plotted on a map based on GPS coordinates

## Catch Status

Each catch displays its current status:

| Status | Meaning |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| ✅ **Approved** | Verified and counting toward rankings |
| ⏳ **Pending** | Awaiting review or verification |
| ❌ **Rejected** | Did not pass verification checks |

## Admin Notes & Moderation Feedback

Your My Catches page shows all moderation activity related to your catches, so you always know what happened:

* **Admin Notes** — if an administrator has left a comment on your catch (e.g., a reason for status change), it appears directly on the catch card
* **Flag Resolutions** — when another angler flags your catch and a moderator resolves it, the resolution comment is shown on your catch card. Up to two recent resolutions are displayed, with a count of any additional ones
* **Competition Exclusions** — if your catch has been excluded from a specific competition, the competition name and the reason for exclusion are shown on the card

<Tip>These notes help you understand moderation decisions and improve future submissions.</Tip>

## Adding Extra Photos

You can upload **additional photos** to any of your catches directly from the My Catches page:

1. Find the catch you want to enhance
2. Tap the **Add Photos** section at the bottom of the catch card
3. Select one or more photos from your device
4. The extra photos are added to the catch's image slideshow

<Info>Extra photos are especially useful for showing scale placement, release shots, or different angles. They also count as evidence during moderation review.</Info>

## Editing Captions

Below the extra photos section, you can **edit the caption** of any catch. Tap the caption area, make your changes, and save.

## Submitting a New Catch

Tap the **Submit Catch** button (camera icon) in the filter bar or the empty state to go directly to the catch submission page.
